A. WHEN TO APPLY AND WHEN IS THE CLOSING DATE?

B. PROCEDURES FOR ONLINE APPLICATION?

STEP 1 Open Saving Account @ RHB Bank

STEP 2 Open SKIM SIMPANAN PENDIDIKAN NASIONAL (SSPN) @ Maybank (IMMEDIATELY can apply PTPTN) OR at Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd (BIMB) (NEXT DAY ONLY can apply PTPTN)

STEP 3 Buy a PIN NUMBER FROM BANK SIMPANAN NASIONAL (BSN) at RM5

STEP 4 Create Gmail or Yahoo email account

STEP 4 Log on to http://www.ptptn.gov.my/ Follow the instructions provided. Ensure that all the personal details and required information are keyed in correctly as any minor errors may result in your application being rejected. Please send your online application before the closing date.

STEP 5 PTPTN will notify you via email OR log on to the portal to check on your application status (approved or rejected).

Note: You are advice to meet your counselor for assistance for the application process.

C. WHAT DO I DO AFTER MY ONLINE PTPTN LOAN APPLICATION HAS BEEN APPROVED?

You will be notified by the college officer. Students are required to submit the supporting documents stated below. Incomplete documents will result in your application being rejected.

1. PTPTN Agreement and its Letter of Offer (2 sets)

2. In-House Multimedia College Offer Letter (1 copy)

3. 2 SetemHasil (RM10 x 2 pieces) (can be purchased at any post office) ALL COMPLETED AGREEMENT ARE TO BE SENT AT ANY NEARBY PTPTN OFFICES.

4. PTPTN Online Application Form

IMPORTANT NOTES

Students who are applying or have applied for the PTPTN loan are required to PAY THEIR CURRENT OUTSTANDING FEES WHENEVER IT IS DUE.

Confirmation of receiving 1st PTPTN payment are only upon final approval from PTPTN after successful submission of documents.

Change of programme PTPTN loan will be revoked and will be considered null and void if student transfer program/change major. Student will have to pay back PTPTN the FULL AMOUNT OF LOAN RECEIVED before re-applying for a new loan under the new programme.

Expiry date of PTPTN Agreement Approved application are given 14 DAYS AFTER THE APPROVAL DATE to submit complete documents or the agreement will be terminated.
